I was wondering, when planting eggplant transplants, am I supposed to plant it deeper as I would tomatoes for more root growth?

Me too - they are very sturdy plants and getting them a little deeper just helps support them too. Good luck with the eggplant. Our 3 plants were SO prolific last summer, we still have plenty in the freezer and probably won't plant more this year. Love that deep fried eggplant!! :tools

Ohhh... deep fried eggplant?? YUMMY!!! I will have to give that a try!

Thanks for the advice, how much deeper do you usually plant them? I'm just about to seperate my seedlings into individual pots, I was assuming that as with tomatoes I should plant them up to their first leaves?
