My GOSh the rain we have gotten here lately is CRAZY! These pics are of a wash that runs in front of the house. This is NOT a natural creek and does not always have water in it. But it is a natural waterway and catches a lot of run-off. My oldest daughter said when it rained on Tuesday the water was so high it was only a couple of inches shy of going OVER this little bridge. All the other bridges WERE underwater with one being completely washed out! Keep in mind these pics were taken today, 2 days after the last rainfall...

Forecast for tomorrow is pleasant breeze, lots of sunshine, and highs in the mid 70's. THANK GOODNESS!!!!

How Torrential! Landslides! LOL :gig

That is the cutest 'brook', ...no better yet, 'babbling brook' I have ever seen! LOL

Too funny! Send the drizzle this way!

The planter apparatus and poles?? ...this is interesting.

The bridge is just a doll! Seriously I can see the most incredible fairy garden there for the kids! Fun stuff!

:love

If you want to do an awesome Spiderwort bed, this would be the ideal!

Also Umbrella grass too!

Check out this grass, called Blue Lyme Grass (I have seeds)

Oh that Seaoats grass would look lovely there, and a ton of Hollyhocks would hold the earth together! LOL ...where do I stop! LOL, can't you see it?

Another one that would thrive in that spot is the Rose Mallow or Swamp Mallow.

even if it goes from overly wet to very dry the swamp mallow survives!

Funny thing this morning, I go out and walk my gardens with coffee in hand. I go out front and by the road there is a rake just of the side of the road in my yard.

It rained so hard last night the rake washed down someones driveway, flowed down stream ( The street) and ended at my place.
I leaned it up so the owner can drive by and reclaim it!

LOL :yuckyuck

That is like the 'Swiffer Wet-jet' commercial with the mop trying to woo the homeower to let him back. LOL Baby come back!

Only in this case that poor rake begged to go to your yard and even physically found a way to move itself to your doorstep! This is a Great and Powerful Force!

Luke! Luke! Be One with the Force!

The rake wants to live with you! :ya

Ron

at least give it a day at the curb and if no one gets it then paint the little bugger! Put a ribbon on it! LOL :throw

I will make a trellis out of it!
Fit the handle in a pipe so it don't rot as fast.
Ya I will paint and give it a nice new home, after all it just may be a sign.

Ron you think some creature used it like a witch rides a broom?
Or could it be, " The Great Rake Spirit " ?
