I'm in. Doesn't look to be in bad shape, but does need some upgrading, especially in the kitchen. I also noticed some slippage of the vinyl flooring in one pic. There is also one room with a bed in it that could use a false ceiling and some insulation.
this is a seasonal place right? that explains why it is cheaper than most year round homes in the area. NYboy, are the area roads plowed in the winter at all or are they not maintained for any winter use?
Yep seasonal, above ground water pipes. water turned off in Nov. Dirt road not plowed. back when my parents owned it, every couple of years everyone on trail would chip in and get a dump truck full of shale. The whole day people would be out with rakes, spreading it on road infront of their house.
i remember having a small camp on Milton 3 Ponds as a kid that was seasonal and they would take during the early 'mud' season and push the plow trucks down the road to level the dirt. a couple years ago i was up in that area and now it is year round and some of the old camps were torn down and rebuild for living through the winter. our old camp was still there but the cottage beside it was turned into a nice 2 story house.
