Our neighbor has one and we borrow it from time to time. We don't have enough grass to justify a mower. We have a bush hog on the tractor for the heavy stuff. We don't need to mow sand, no matter how bad my husband wants a riding lawnmower.

This gizmo is just the ticket for what we need it for. I think new they sell for over $300, this is a good buy. While we don't use it for trimming, I can see how it would be a valuable asset to your growing agricultural collection. Plus you don't have to hold the darn thing, it holds itself up. Just point, go and mow.

You haven't bought it yet??????

I have one, mines a Cub Cadet and I love that thing. It doesn't do edges like a hand held string trimmer, but for large areas of weeds it's awesome! We have a lot of rocks and we used to use an old beater lawn mower, but continually whacked the blade on hidden rocks.
This thing can't be beat.
