Oh! We've got one made by Gravely....great machines! Good for many different terrains and applications on a tract of land.

Nephew dropped it off at weekend house. Going to come in handy in area where garden and woods meet. Lots of fallen logs and rocks, also around trees in orchard. Every year the gas trimmer seems to get heavier and heavier.

I've been using the swing blade for almost all of the areas that I would normally have taken the weedeater lately. I can't, of course, get right up against posts and trees and such - but for the large areas of grass too sparse to justify the mower, it does an acceptable job. Plus it's quiet, doesn't stink, and REALLY boost the steps on my fitbit. :p

Bay fathers day coming up, I bet you can find a bargain riding mower for hubby
Just can't justify one right now. For the large areas, we have the tractor. Much of the front "yard" is sand. Even if I painted it green, it just doesn't need mowing. The back yard is grown up, going to put the lambs in there to take it down.
