Ugh, these are such finicky, delicate trees.
I'm not sure my big potted ones survived winter, nor most of the last year's sprouts...
Some of the planted by the driveway started to leaf out, but 30F came through and set them all back. Sycamore, mulberry, tulip and other wild trees on the property also died back because of it.
I'm setting up drip irrigation on timers everywhere. The batch of 7(?) Trees on the hill, got line out to them, then realized that I had to mow!
I also have no clue where they are....I found one of them. Mowing carefully around, searching for the teeny tiny trees that look like dead weedy sticks....Talk about a needle in a haystack!
Then it rained!
Now I'm waiting for dry weather to continue. Will also flag the trees to actually know where the heck they are for the future.
