Almost 2 years! I am glad I saved the coop! I wish I had painted the inside and put new wall paper up before I put it back together!

Mary, How do you keep the fine dust off of the chanelier ? Curious because the fine dust is a fire hazzard and known to start fires in barns. :idunno

Well first of all, there is no electricity to the coop. The occasional house fire that has occurred here in Alameda has been due to electrical issues. Our weather is also very cool especially in the mornings. There is always dew. I occasionally jet blast it with the hose to get it clean again. That's when the chickens love that dirty water on the ground. :p
