I enjoy the blog Food in Jars (foodinjars dot com being new, I can't post the link :)). She published a cookbook earlier this year, but she has lots of recipes on her website. I've tried several of them and they have all been delicious. She also has blog postings called Canning 101 which explain various things about the basics of canning. Those are very helpful for new canners.

I love Linda's Pantry on YouTube for canning. Anyone nervous about canning should watch some of her videos and see how easy it is to can.

Hi there :frow

I have been noticing that many of us are looking for information on Food Preservation of one kind or another so I thought it might be useful to have it in one place so people don't have to search forever.

I am only going to list reliable sites here & ask you to do the same as this will be used by people who are seriously concerned that they could kill their families if the process goes wrong!

To kick off :-

This UGA is the main one i use but I also use https://www.nifa.usda.gov/about-nifa/blogs/usdas-complete-guide-home-canning. There’s a you tuber the rosered homestead that has excellent tutorials that are great for beginners and seasoned canners. She is excellent source for many different food preservation options.
Glad to find this forum too!
