Foolproof Cake I Give Up !!!!!!!!

I tried making pumpkin pound cake from a box. I threw cake and pan out. I give up on cooking ,it is enough I make a wicked cocktail

If your intention was charcoal briquettes, you need to put it back in the oven, it's not quite done yet.

Cooking is not fool proof. Your best bet is to go the crock pot method of cooking as an extra hour is no big deal where in stove top or baking, an extra hour IS a big deal. You can do it, you obviously prefer NOT to.

@Nyboy I'm married to your sister by another mother. When she WANTS to cook, she is excellent but she can also screw up boiled water because she puts it on stove and forgets about it-or oven. To this day, she can't cook spaghetti-doesn't salt water and over boils it-so did her mother. Can't stand mushy spaghetti-she thinks it's me....
