edited to add, that's a pretty small picture. real hard to make out.
I've been to that precise spot...
about 200 feet from the top of Hull Mountain.
I actually thought that was the pacific ocean and some sunshine or cloud clearing on it.
I'm on the right side of the lake, the part nearer, about 200 feet from the water. Hull Mountain is just right of north of the lake. The north star is just to the left of the peak from where I am. 5 degrees or so?
Hang gliders take off from the spot where the van is. It requires a very good driver to get to this spot. I did it in a quarter ton pickup 2 wheel drive. That last mile is treacherous. From this spot, hang gliders glide over the near part of the lake. At the lake they lose their thermals and drop, so it is considered difficult to expert on some chart they have.
Distance to the lake from this spot is 200 feet less than 6 miles.
i mean, really, yer family couldn't cope with environmental change?! i think you coped really well! in fact, you learned to garden very well with all this 'climate' change stuff!
