Garden humor thread..

Ha,ha, ha. Do I feel silly!

I looked at @canesister's sign and saw a hunched-over man reaching down towards the garden. It wasn't until I tried to figure out the addition of the pussy willows (yeah, weeds work) that I saw the fist holding them.

That looks like a fun harmless prank! If you didn't want to do the whole vehicle, you could just make a smiley face or peace sign, etc. What cool pranks have you all pulled on friends or family?
One of my favorites was putting a democrat candidate bumper sticker on a staunch republican's back bumper. He didn't see it for a few days, and boy was he ticked.

OMG someone is going to die! Well they would if they did this to DH's truck
.

Well, that is sorta what I thought.

Actually, I thought - I hope that the teenagers in the neighborhood don't see that! But, they are probably so far ahead of me that "hey kids, get off of my lawn!" would sound like a foreign language!

I think I should retreat into camouflage someplace. Yeah! It's beginning to snow ... if I got some wet cotton balls and glued them on the Dodge ...

Julie Andrews Turning 79

To commemorate her birthday , actress/vocalist, Julie Andrews made a
special appearance at Manhattan 's Radio City Music Hall for a benefit.
One of the musical numbers she performed was 'My Favorite Things' from the
legendary movie* Sound Of Music.

Here are the lyrics she used:* (Sing It!) - If you sing it, its hysterical!!!
pause between words

Botox and nose drops and needles for knitting, > Walkers and handrails and
new dental fittings, > Bundles of magazines tied up in string, > These are a
few of my favorite things.*

Cadillacs and cataracts, hearing aids and glasses, > Polident and Fixodent
and false teeth in glasses, > Pacemakers, golf carts and porches with
swings, > These are a few of my favorite things.*

When the pipes leak, When the bones creak, > When the knees go bad, I
simply remember my favorite things, And then I don't feel so bad.*

Hot tea and crumpets and corn pads for bunions, > No spicy hot food or food
cooked with onions, Bathrobes and heating pads and hot meals they bring, >
These are a few of my favorite things.*

Back pain, confused brains and no need for sinnin', > Thin bones and
fractures and hair that is thinnin', > And we won't mention our short
shrunken frames, > When we remember our favorite things.

When the joints ache, When the hips break, > When the eyes grow dim,*

Then I remember the great life I've had, > And then I don't feel so bad.*

(Ms. Andrews received a standing ovation from the crowd> that lasted over
four minutes and repeated encores.)

As a former "Mother Abbess", I have always loved that song (my personal fave was Climb Every Mountain) from The Sound of Music. This version is certainly a clever adaption of the original.
