Gardening Myths and Legends

I don't think anything in the garden has more stories told about it than Parsley.
It should always be planted by a woman. It will not thrive if planted by a man.
Parsley is a contrary plant. If you want it to grow well you have to cuss at it and say you hope it dies.
Parsley seed goes to the devil and back seven times before it sprouts.
If you see a garden with a lush patch of parsley it means the woman wears the pants in that family.

I think i need to get some parsley!! :D

Steve, the Mica Peak I look at is located in Washington. It has a radar station on top. Our neighbor used to work at the station. Long commute, good view. The 'Mica Peak' in Idaho is also known as Signal Point and Shasta Butte. Sounds like it's having an identity crisis
