Getting any snow?

Without children, I would guess the milk is dispensable -- except for Bay's hot chocolate -- and there are brands that only need added water. However, as bay mentioned, cereal is a real easy "power down" meal. I keep dehydrated milk just in case.

We are getting our first real snow of the year...finally!!! :weee They changed the forecast to read up to a foot tonight and maybe 3 in. more tomorrow, so that's going to be a real pretty snow. Good for the garden.

Don't know if folks know this but they still make canned and powdered milk if milk is an essential and they fear they will not find any at the store. It hasn't been an essential at our house for 20 yrs now and it wasn't really considered an essential back then but just another type of food/beverage.

We're getting more snow now, up to about 2ft!

It is snowing here now. Started about 5 hours earlier than it was supposed to.... so I dont know how much snow we will end up with. At noon they said about 3 inches by their time line, it wasnt supposed to start snowing here until later this evening. So we shall see what we end up with.
