Getting any snow?

it's been sleeting since my last post have about 3/4" of it...hate sleet it's like little ball bearings when you walk on it...
thank goodness no ice as of yet... on a happier note glad this storm did not drop what they projected, still shoveling to do tomorrow but not as much..

stay safe.....

We're expecting pretty much the same thing Major is - except ours starts a few hours later, of course.
I bit the bullet today and bought a generator. I've been nursing an old, hand-me-down one for years but it's gotten so unreliable...
Of course - this means that my county won't have a single power outage for the next 10 years. :D

was thinking about what you posted...while the girls and i were out for a walk had a good chuckle what if i had a snow blower" it would never snow here and the tires would dry rot...

At 7 inches now!

Close to 4 inches where I live so far. Overnight and through till Sunday morning should be fun. So far this is just powder, not heavy snow.

I really don't want to lose power, but I have a fireplace insert and can keep the pipes from freezing if I do lose power.

L O V E that new avatar, secuono! It is so you!

We are predicted to have a few 'lake effect' snow flakes. Not a usual thing here, but the wind is blowing off Lake Michigan tonight. Shouldn't be enough to have to shovel in the morning and certainly nothing compared to what's going on in the East.

Take care of yourselves, ya'll. I wan't everyone safe and back here after the storm.
