Getting Ready For Ark

I have to be outside. Too much in the house and I'm going out, I don't care what. I spent 4 days in PJ's last month because I was sick, real sick, but I still stumbled outside, much to my husband's chagrin.

Nyboy vitamin D is a real good idea, especially in winter.

Also as we get older we aren't as efficient at converting sunlight into vit. D.
Or so I've heard.

Or maybe I read it on the internet which virtually guarantees it's veracity...

I get caught in spiral ups ...

. and spiral downs.

There was a study done many years ago on the body's reaction to a move from one residence to another. Even if the move was deliberate and joyfully undertaken, the body's reactions were similar to when loved ones were lost ... mourning.

Mood is not always taken into account but self-diagnosis can fall short, also. It's just another reason we should treat ourselves respectfully.

Anyway, I didn't grow up this far north. I swear, if I wasn't so exhausted and lame ... I'd be nearly airborne! Buoyant. @Larisa is further north but my environment will soon have 2/3 daylight, 1/3 darkness. Exhilarating that it happens so quickly.

Winter is the reverse. There is 2/3 darkness! Sixteen, tedious hours out of every day. Day isn't the proper word, anymore than calling every 24 hours, a night. Imagine if it was 24 hours of actual night! As it is, I almost feel as though I have crawled into a hole in the earth.
