What about a gift certificate to a local international market? Or an IOU that you will bring them something special-like goose, elk, etc-on their time table.

I'm thinking a long the same lines as Seed. What about getting them something like beautiful wild salmon or scallops? Something that is pricey and they may not get that often. Another idea, is a cooking or baking class. Of course those would be more than $50.
