His time was almost up in this photograph below, but his mind was gone anyway.

His last dinner was chicken and vegetables followed by his favourite treats. I'll love him forever
Snoozing on my sofa will never be the same without him

@Marie2020 so sorry to hear this sad news. Our dogs never seem to have a very long lifespan in comparison to ours. It’s a difficult time and you have given your pup a good life and a great home full of all the tricks and treats a pup could ever wish for. I often thought the gentlest souls are our pet dogs.
If the kindest souls were rewarded with the longest lives, dogs would out live us all.
