Nancy and I had a huge shock
A huge boxer dog came hurtling towards us unexpectedly.
Nancy was terrified and I froze. But as Nancy growled he immediately backed off.

The owner knew me from when I had Sam. But I was still afraid. She calmly told me that Buddy the boxer wouldn't hurt us and to please stay calm and let them work it out while they were both on their leads.

She was right, we all started walking together Nancy pulled towards him then they happily walked side by side all the way back home. She's absolutely thrilled with herself right now. And me even more so.

She's getting there. She slows down when I say wait to, in My doggy gruff voice

I still have to stop her from pulling when we go out. I put the lead behind me to try and control her excitement
