Grey Gardens Is For Sale

I have never heard of this place and know nothing about the story behind it. When I googled "Grey Garden" I got a bunch of video clips of an 'eccentric' woman wearing head scarves and putting on what looked like an odd tour for the camera.
There is obviously a story behind this.
What a sad name for a place though.. grey garden.

I read it was named that because of the fog that rolled in off the Atlantic and covered the gardens.
But, yeah, not a real cheerful name.

but a bit over our budget think we will stay put

It is a very sad story multi millionaire leaves his wife and child for another woman. Gave estate and some money to wife when he left. money runs out wife goes a little crazy, daughter stays to take care of mother till death. Jackie Kenndy was cousin to them

And this woman thinks a 10 bedroom, 7.5 bathrooms is not a mansion? And she calls it cozy? Maybe she needs to come visit me, I can sure show her "cozy" in a 1500 sq ft doublewide!

We have a 5 bedroom 2 bath we each have are own room another is my sewing room
the 5th the cats have with 2 litter boxes also store dog food there to keep the dogs out of it.
we thought it was large
