Grilling vegetables

what are your favorite ways to grill beets, green beans & summer squash?

squash and beets cut in half with just a little oil on them to keep them from sticking.

beans a bit too small, so probably would need a wire rack of some sort to hold them.

corn on the cob, soaked in cold water for a while still in the husk then roasted on the grill. favorite way to have it.

don't like any of them overdone so would have to watch carefully.

If you can skewer your beans on a shishkabob it may help. Never heard of a grilled bean before but I guess that would taste good.

I like to do all veggies I can on the skewers because you can turn a whole row of them with just the turn of the skewer...saves time. Also nice when time to get them off the grill and serve.
