Hello everyone, I wanted to share that I have gathered about 30 pds of potatoes, prob a bushel of tomatoes, almost a bowl full of butter beans and a few banana peppers. I have some baby watermelons coming up and they are SO CUTE! My hand is bigger than they are haha. This is my first garden on first broke ground and considering I did not put any fertilizer on anything I feel like I am doing pretty good. :)

Best wishes to all of your gardens!

BTW How do you add pictures on here? I was going to include a pic of the baby watermelon but I couldn't figure out how to put the pic here lol

Congrats!! Good for you! Where are you located? That is quite a harvest for so early in the season! I will let someone else tell you how to post pics- I am no expert! Enjoy!

Yay, IB!

Do you see the green bar just below the "TheEasyGarden - Gardening Forum" page title? See, "Uploads?"

Click on that and then find the photograph on your computer. After uploading to TEG gallery, you can copy the Image url address and paste it in your post.

Give it a try! You can use the "Preview" and see how it looks before clicking "Submit."

I am always happy to hear someone have success ,especially on a first garden.. hope you have many more years of excellent home grown food! You will never want food from the market again.

Congratulations! Awesome harvest! :) What kind of potatoes and tomatoes were they?

Sounds like you are a natural green thumb! :happy_flower I've noticed that about tilling a new plot of soil too. I think in most cases it works out so great because the soil hasn't been depleted and already has a good balance of nutrients. Seems there are always lots of earthworms too.

I'll check back when you get your pics up. We love to see pictures. :D :caf

Congrats! That sounds awesome! Way ahead of me :)

You should be able to post pics soon, just keep chatting us up and they'll unlock the picture posting option. ;)
