Let's not forget all those aunts who may not have children, but are as beloved by the nieces and nephews as a mother. Heck, my next door neighbors I called them Grandma and Grandpa Thrasher were more loved than the grandparents I never saw or knew.

Happy Mother's day everyone. I'm having a pretty good day! MontyJ is making me pulled pork, potato salad green beans and cake for dinner! With the help of the girls of course!

Sounds great, Dew. DH took me out for my favorite -- a strawberry waffle -- for breakfast. I made cream-of-freshly-picked-asparagus soup with just baked French bread for lunch. Dinner is still out. If I can't think of anything I'd like to eat out, I'll make spagetti and meatballs here at home.

Severe storms moved into the area recently. I'm leaning more to cooking at home. Pork and potato salad sounds pretty darned good right now, though.
