I'm guilty of a little computer break, too. HAHA
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone.
We are having thanksgiving over at my mom's today. But we five women (my mom, her sister, my sister, SIL, and I) will all be contributing a substantial amount of the food.
I'm making 3 loaves of bread, deviled eggs, spiced orange sweet potatoes, and a venison roast.
We are having deep fried turkey! DROOL!!
Man... that guys have it so easy.... We girls do all the cooking and cleaning in our family.

I am very pleased with myself this eveing. Rather than fall into a "food stupor" after dinner. I drank a bit of coffee. Then cleaned the entire mess from dinner, deboned the turkey, I put the skin, and bones into a big pot to make some stock. Put away all the food and dishes. I am so good!! Of course, if I didn't do it, it wouldnt get done. Amazing how much mess it takes to do Turkey and all the trimmings, even when it is only two people!!
