By chance the cabbage that you are growing is not O.S. Cross is it? If it is you just need to be more patient. They will be huge cabbage, they just take time. Being it is getting hotter outside the more in the shade they are the better off they will be.

I am envious of that purple cabbage you have, they are really doing well. I'm actually surprised at how well, with the hot tempratures your getting. I wonder if that could be playing a roll in your green cabbage problem? I usually think of cabbage as a cool weather crop. It may be that the "variety" of green cabbage you planted is not able to handle the hot temps as well as your variety of purple cabbage?

They sure have a lot of outer leaves to not have formed a head yet. Maybe it is kale? Need a close up picture to be sure.

The leaves would probably work great for cabbage rolls, just as they are.:)
