We are recent newcomers to the Appalachian foothills of AL. Enjoying our land where we have plenty of space to explore, raise animals and plant many things...if we can find enough sunny spots among the trees!

I currently have three experimental gardens going-trying to find the best location: patio container garden, driveway side and on a sloping hill behind a retaining wall. The last one is getting the best results so far!

We are also dabbling in fruit for the first time! Have some pears, apples, grapes, raspberries and strawberries at various stages of development.

Looking forward to learning and growing from all of your experience!

You have come to the right place. We love to garden, talk about gardens, show pictures of our gardens and look at pictures of other people’s gardens. Welcome!
