Hello from Alabama!

Bay, as long as you respect your elders we'll get along fine. I do resemble and appreciate your remark.

Dirtmechanic, I use a desktop so cannot tell you how to get your location to show up. Hopefully someone that uses a phone can help you. Which operating system you use can even make a difference in how to do that.
Currently it is a Google Pixel 2 xl. I guess that is a android OS of the latest config as we head toward Chromium OS being the thesis OS across all these devices.

Welcome from Washington state, glad you joined us. I like that compost spreader I see them being used on lawn to top dress them.
Its tough but I really do try to avoid shovels. Sometimes I cannot avoid it, but I do try! My front yard is just large enough to make me suffer hauling wheelbarrows about. Here is what our winters look like out front.

WOW I love your yard! So envious :D Mine is a postage stamp by comparison and not nearly the View!

Nice place! And you mean to tell me that it's not shovel ready? :th
Thanks and I think shoveling is age related. The yard was not that big 20 years ago.

Thank you. I would not want it larger because of the upkeep, but it introduced me to gardening and I have come to enjoy it so much myself.

What is planted at the base of the crepe myrtles? Those are crepe myrtles along the drive, right?
Yes they are crepes with boxwoods. I gave them a haircut to allow a replacment for one in the middle to catch up in height. They do grow slow so I am using some auxin called superthrive to get it up high and then I will try some cytokenin fruit set spray to get it to fluff out. Still I doubt it will match exactly by next year.
