The corn is finished and gone. tomatoes are so winding down. squash is gone. green beans are done. got a few melons that are ripening up and the cucumbers and okra are still going strong.

I'm going to try a no till lasagna style plot this fall where the corn was. I laid down 4 inches of grass clippings, some rabbit manure and I'm working on getting 4 inches of wood chips down. I plan on filling the area with black eyed peas.

anyway, I would love to learn more and maybe increase my yields. I started this garden late with no planning.....i just knew I needed to get some stuff in the ground.

Welcome. We have some Texas natives that will be glad to help.

Greetings to you from another southerner here on TEG. I'm found in SOUTH-est, central-est Wisconsin. Glad to have you growing with us. That's a right nice beginning garden you've gotten.

I hope to share with and from you as we learn together.
