Hi all:

I live in Virginia and enjoy growing chile peppers, tomatoes, and turnips, etc. I am here to learn and, hopefully, contribute as well.

Well hi there! I'm in VA too - way down near the NC border. This year will be my first year trying hot peppers.
Looking forward to hearing more about your gardens.

Joe.

Welcome to TEG!

I knew of a Texas gardener who seemed to be all about growing tomatoes most of the year and turnips through the winters. He collected bags of leaves from throughout his neighborhood and ran over them with his lawn mower for mulch. Oh yes, he would also save cuttings of his best tomato plants and keep them from year to year. He was a skilled gardener by the evidence of his photographs.

Peppers would be a good addition to the mix :).

Welcome Joe. I only grow a couple of jalapeno peppers and am trying marconi for the first time. I'm really excited about that one. Space is very limited and our weather is a little too cool but I keep trying!

Welcome, Joe!
Super Chile is one of my new peppers this year. I grow a lot of hot peppers, and a few sweets just for me. What kind of tomatoes do you grow?
