Hello friends!

Chiming in from Manitoba, Canada after a lovely April winter snow storm - if you're like me you're itching to see some greenery and get planting in the garden.
Looking for companion planting ideas for our very short growing season.

About me:
I live about 1 hour north from the nearest city and love gardening. I have a raised U-shape garden that was hand built by my partner. I regularly plant a garden every year (past 6 years) since owning a home. I am looking to learn more about gardening and companion planting specifically. Seeds here don't typically go in the ground until late may as we have a very short growing season here in Manitoba.

I also raise chickens - which is how I found this site on BYC as a suggestion from a member.
