Help ID this flower please.

It grows about 2 foot tall. The blooms are bigger than a dime but less than a nickel in width. Succulent like stems. Blooming now. It came a year ago to our garden. Probably in a packet of mixed flowers.

no idea, but the flower reminds me of a strawberry flower only it's red and not white.

It's cute! The foliage reminds me of Pasque flower. Aka pulsatilla, Old Mans Whiskers, Prairie Smoke.
Wonder if it's in the same genus.

My niece has an app on her phone that identifies flowers from a photo! It tells her this is a Pheasants eye!

No fragrance and I think it reseeds itself.
