Help, What is this?

I have this tree seedling in my garden and not sure what kind of tree it is. I would like to know what kind of tree it is. It kind of looks like a fruit tree to me, which would be nice but really don't know. I took pictures of the little tree.

Any help would be appreciated!

I think it may be an ornamental pear... but I'm not where they grow as far as zones. Wish I had more info, that's just my opinion!

Did you or some other "human" plant it? If not, look around and see what might have been transported... The squirrels around here love to plant black walnuts. I was carefully transplanting them, until I realized I would have a forest, if I wasn't careful! Let us know if you figure out what it is!

It looks similar to a cherry tree to me GT.
I was thinking peach tree at first, but the darker bark makes me lean more cherryish.

Thanks everyone for all your help!

I'm thinking of digging up the tree seedling to another area, their may be a pit or seed still attached to it if its a fruit tree. I'm still unsure what it is but hopefully I'll find out what it is soon.

Ash tree.

While the leaf shape suggests ash as a possibility, the branching habit is not right. Ash leaves and branches are opposite, not alternate.
