Southern Gardener
Deeply Rooted
I'm still among the living - I think! Thanks for all messages, it's so nice to be missed!
Holy cow, this site sure is a lot different from the old one so I hope I'm doing this right. I'll go back later and read. Ha!
How are all my northern friends? Hope y'all are staying toasty warm and safe. I can't imagine that kind of cold, but it has been pretty cold for us here - 16 degrees here this morning. We haven't seen temps like that in years - I hope it killed a lot of bugs!
I didn't garden much in the fall as we've had so much rain and a lot of my garden soil washed into my neighbors yard! I had to wait two weeks for it to stop raining and dry out enough to shovel it back in - it was a mud pit.
Nothing much in my world has changed, except we've added two other critters to our zoo; another cat and a seven month old mixed breed pup that was dumped on the road. I have her posted on every social media network to get her adopted - any takers???
Oh, and sis and I are taking horseback riding lessons! Yay! When I was growing up, I used to cry and beg my dad to buy me a horse. I had posters all over my room of the horses I wanted. LOL! I still have my old scrapbook of horse stuff that I collected as a kid. Yeah, we'll have a couple of horses by the end of they year.
Better late than never.
So tell me what y'all have been up to!!!

No worries, you'll get used to this new format soon.
I'd have to clean out my greenhouse and well, I just don't want to.
Yeehaw, Southern's back!
