You can check over on the "What are You Planting Today" thread for Desertwillow in Inyokern, CA. She's just a ways north of you. My neighbors at the distant veggie garden just pulled up stakes the other day to spend the winter down near Indio . . . okay, they don't count.
I do see a new TEG member as of today who is from Tucson. That might not be much different from your location . . , Cheerio'!
