This here little unit's only going to a very few places. like, here and my email. not a thing will be clicked except official and well trusted buttons like submit, log in, recent posts. Not even putting messenger on this little thing.
Kind of like having a new volkswagon. Not built for racing or anything fancy. The old laptop still works for the other things.

Yay! Yours sounds about the size of my little netbook.
We recycled the big old desktop last fall when my dh installed the ceramic tile floor (yippee! no more horrible carpet! ) and the woodstove. There wasn't room for the computer desk and it was ugly anyway. Then my regular laptop that we liberated from the dump and my son fixed for me sort of got a few problems, and my sis had sent me this little netbook so that's all I use anymore.
I liked it so much I bought my dh one for Christmas.
Don't worry, you look fine and I can hardly hear you crunch.
