HOT oven... no problem !

The playmates have now learned that by working together, they can now flip down the play- pen sides and roam the house at will. I talked to our daughter at noon today... this morning when the playmates woke up , she gave them a bath and new diapers and put them in their play pen so she could get dressed. She then whent downstairs to find the playmates' play pen empty and laying on the sides and the two escapees had opened the glass firplace doors , climbed in and were looking for Santa Clause inside the fire place, with black soot on smiling faces as well as their hands and the rest of their bodies. Second bath within a half hour was not their idea of fun.

Now that's funny. I can just picture the two little stinkers, so happy with themselves, sitting in the fireplace and all sooty streaked.
