they look so uncomfortable and you can't garden in them very easily even if they poke holes in the ground for you... not going to be able to run away from charging bear. i'm pretty sure it's a conspiracy so it makes it easier for men to catch ya when running... or at least men would be able to run faster if bear was chasing...
