Should you manage to get rid of the good doctor, try mulching the roses in the fall with several inches of shredded leaves or even soil that you can remove in the spring. That will prevent the rose from dying back and having the root stock take over again.

Everything is better than wild roses unless you are looking at them growing on someone else's property.

Digging them out is treacherous and leaving them is dangerous. They are growing everywhere that Spouse hasn't cleaned out. Try walking through those brambles! Yuck!

No these are tiny white flowers, They can grow anywhere a roses shouldn't, have have them growing in deep shade.
