I am going to lose my brother

We had a priest for him yesterday and he perked up at his arrival. It was a nice uplifting moment. He is heavily medicated but, knew for a few minutes what was going on. He has been content and positive through this and said he is not afraid. He talked about seeing the family and friends that have past. I hope I am as brave and at peace when my time comes. Thanks for the kind words. His wife is a saint.

My brother passed last night with his wife and one of his sons by his side. I am happy his suffering did not go on for too long. I am remembering some very special visits at this time. Thank-you for your good thoughts.

Big hugs. I am happy for your brother and family that he didn't linger, full pf pain and misery. There is no easy way out of this world and into the next, but for him to pass quietly with his family around him is a blessing. That won't ease the heartbreak and it won't take away the empty place in your life and heart that only he can fill. My prayers are with you girl.

It is always too soon to lose someone we love. It was the right time for him to go, but not for his loved ones to let him leave.

It was good that his passing was quick and that his family were there with him. Praying for you and the others that the smile of memories quickly overtake the tears of sorrow.
