I made some with regular cabbage I got at the farmer's market and chiltepin peppers from the garden. Goooodddd stuff!

You can kraut all sorts of things. I knew some Polish farmers that krauted turnips every year. They sliced them into strips and krauted them like cabbage. They were really good. They used the large openings on a shredder to cut the strips.

That's a really interesting recipe for the lemons. Wifezilla would know better but I am wondering if it's the bacteria in the Fetta that causes the ferment.

I might have to try that one next spring.
