I think of her son....where did he go? Who's taking care of him? She escaped an abusive relationship, so I hope he didn't go back to his bio dad.

I didn't know Nyboy as long as many here. But I miss his talent for starting deep philosophical discussions about everyday life. He was so casually thought-provoking, you never knew what he would say next. His openness brought out the best in others, and that IMO is his lasting contribution to this forum. He will always be here.

The days have been very cloudy here, dark.
Today, there was some fog that quickly disappeared with the sunrise. It is now a few minutes after noon but the sun is near a winter low, so close to the horizon. It's like a springtime morning.
I looked out the window and the small branches on the neighboring tree look as though they have leaf buds. Glistening with color in sunbeams. And so, the seasons go.

Beside Alex buying a new chainsaw ever time his got dull, what is one of your favorite stories? How about his female friend on their way out to dinner.? The karate champion forced to put a would be mugger in his place with her skills. One of my favs.

He was invited to Martha Stewart’s for a holiday dinner to thank all the people who she did business with. He took us along with pictures and glowing descriptions. It gave us all a glimpse into another way of life.
