We have a glass top range too. We use our pressure canner on it all the time.

For our supper tonight we had soup I canned last summer with tomatoes, yellow squash, zuchinni, onions, green beans and basil-all from the garden! I cut up some left over roast and YUM! Also toasted some whole wheat rolls (leftovers) cut in half and buttered and buttermilk pie from last night. Be sure to can soup. It is the fast meal when it is time to eat and you have nothing thawed, no leftovers, out of ideas and just plain don't want to drag out a bunch of stuff and play build-a-meal!

grumble......grumble.......goes to pantry, looks at old pressure canner.......kicks pantry door, stubs toe, screams obscenities.........really oughta get an All American.......grumble......

You'll love it. There isn't a better quality canner made anywhere and you have the satisfaction that it was made in Wisconsin USA, not China.
