I believe the raccoon is back, I lost a CM last night and I found Caramel's body when I was closing up tonight. RIP Babies 
I lost two of my birds....

Sorry about your losses, i know how it would feel to lose any of your animals. Today I lost one of my doves that died because of a kind of virus he had 
. Its sad to lose pets/animals that you love and care for. They might not be with you anymore physically but spiritually i believe they will always be there in your heart. What's important is that they had a good life and you took care of them well.

Well the CM turned up alive today, she has a lot of feathers missing but is fine other wise. 
But I lost a BA last night.

I am so sorry Cat. I killed the coon that ate almost half of my flock including my EE mix that I loved dearly and all my silkies.

Sorry to hear about your birds. How is the raccoon getting them? Do they get locked up at night? Sounds like it is time for a trap or a LGD.... Chickens are so peaceful and sweet, it really makes me sad when something gets one. I lost two, in the winter to a hawk.
