I have one pumpkin. It is the same one that volunteered itself in April. I, thankfully, removed it before our 2 bad freezes, and then replanted it in about the same spot. It has now spread about 5 feet in each direction and has several small fruit on it. THIS is the year to fall in love with (some) weeds bc they are keeping many of my crops from drying out in this terrible drought. The sun and above 100 degree temperatures have been baking my beds like an oven, and again, the weeds are protecting my pumpkins and my sweet corn.
