Is that individual flower stalks or a shrub that is branched out at the base? Any smell? Annual or perennial? How big is the bloom?

Angelonia? They are usually spikier looking, though.

branches at base. Didn't notice any smell.
I don't know if it annual but looks to be a perennial was growing in this big pot and looked like had been there a while.
It's not mine. Saw it when I was at a garage sale and snapped the pic.

Might want to go back to garage sale and ask. Knowing most gardeners they would probable give you some cuttings

Sorry this took so long This was definitely identified 5 hours ago, I just got around to looking to see if anyone knew what it was. This flower has been definitely identified as "Saponaria officinalis 'Flore Pleno' " .
