reclaiming wood either boards or timbers, you need to be very careful when cleaning them up with any power saw....
hidden nails /barb wire,etc will send metal flying everywhere...
use to reclaim wood from old tobacco barns to make furniture...lots of metal in them found out the hard way lost a tooth on a 150.00 chop saw blade, costed around 90.00 to get it straightened and a new tooth brazed back on....
after that purchased these...
garrett makes the best detectors for wood... use on every tree before cutting it can find metal 6" deep. will scan the trunk 7' up
crescent nail puller, it's a modern copy of a old nail puller.. great for pulling nails with no heads....
