is this a fern?

I have this growing in several pots. It originally was in a pot I got while in Fl. It has since jumped to several other pots. Should I remove it, or is helping to serve as a groundcover to keep the soil moist?

It does look like cute ground cover...Does it seem to have shallow roots? I would just worry about it getting aggressive and killing the plants you are trying to grow. Good luck!

It looks similar to something I had here, which when I bought it was sold to me as "rice fern".

I don't have it anymore, the chickens ate it, they loved it, which was a pity because it did make nice edging around the borders.

It is very pretty whatever it is. I could not identify it as a fern though.

This is about as close as I can get with my camera without getting blurry.

to me, it does not look as much like a fern in the close up..at least not like the ones I am used to.

I'm pretty sure it's not a fern. It looks a little like tansy, but I can't tell for sure.

I was thinking along those lines too, I have a Gemmiferous spikemoss
that resembles it a bit. Slowest growing houseplant I have ever owned, probably because I'm such a houseplant abuser. It's in a pot with a fern or it would have surely expired by now.
