Dear TEG neighbors,

I am learning how to create music and video recently, and let me present you the second original song from my tiny Café - Einfach Genug.

It’s a quiet little tune about simplicity, trust, and the beauty of small things—like morning light, a blooming flower, or a peaceful corner of the day. This song is written with the spirit of the café in mind, where nothing has to be loud to matter. The song is in German, but I also put corresponding English subtitle.

The videos are taken from the outdoor sitting area in front of the cafe, also my almost full-shade container garden.

Aren't they just too lovely? Low maintenance, drought tolerant, rodent free, come back every year, and the rhizome just keeps growing.

My favorite flower, Phaedra .

It hasn’t meant that I have gone over the top with planting them . Just that I take real pleasure in seeing them show up every Spring. Everyone has to eat and growing flowers for bouquets favored other species. But, iris are sure beautiful .

The Siberian iris have just begun to bloom. They have become too crowded and need spreading out. This little task for them will be the only one I can remember in the nearly 30 years they have brightened a shady corner of the yard.
