I am just curious of how many homeschoolers use the garden as a lesson each yr? If you do how many subjects do you cover with it? I of course use it for science & math, plus a little history too.

I dont homeschool, but the kids and I discuss everything related to gardening--the soil, the seasons, plant growth, natural fertilizers, God. so many things to learn from putting your hand in the earth.

Yes there is a tremendous amount to learn from the soil. We discuss the types of plants they each are & if they really are a fruit of vegie(by the seed method), where they came from & weather or not the pilgrams might have grown them.
