Just got this through the mail.

Greetings, I just got this card in the mail inviting my to go to: www.nextdoor.com

I did go there and was asked to give my Email address, name and home address. It had a password to enter that would be void in 7 days.

Have you ever heard of this or received a card? What think you?

It gives a persons name and street but no address. This came through the mail like a card.

I just checked the zip code, it was mailed from Oceanside California.

I'll just put it in the wood stove, for safe keeping.

Sounds safest. Don't like giving personal information to people I do not know.

Have you Googled the person's name or looked in your phone book? If they're really your neighbor I would log in. I've heard of Nextdoor before, it is a "real thing."

Yes, I have MtGardener, after reading your post. I also read more about Nextdoor, I don't think I want any part of this, It seems to have turned into a mess. Have a real good day.

Yeah, I guess I am pretty suspicious of things like that. I would have put it in the woodstove for safe keeping, too.
