Friend took photo of one here in Southern NY. He was on hunting trip very clear photo. DEC says no Mt. Lions in NY escaped pet.

The fish and game guys tracked down an older female cougar using a pack of tracking hounds about 20 miles from the woman that was killed and they shot it. Vets, will be performing DNA tests to see if this was the actual killer if they can get the woman's blood sample from the cougar's body .

Guy was killed and eaten by a bear in NJ. Bear was shot stomach was opened no doubt it was right bear. What was really sad he was with 4 friends when bear charged they all ran different directions, if they stayed as a group they could of fought off the bear.
